Avery is a philanthropy champion who strives to leave a positive impact on society. A Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionary who led a campaign that raised over $200,000, Avery is selfless in every aspect of her life, donating her time to LLS, Assisteens, Catholic Charities, and Ronald McDonald House.

Avery discovered that creating art is more than a physical activity, it's a mentally freeing exercise. Art is Avery's emotional release from everyday stressors, a chance to digest conflicting emotions with an open field to express joy. Each piece becomes her message by approaching teacher-assigned prompts with a depth of thought and personal experience.
